About
Clean facilities and attentive service stand out as key strengths, with multiple visitors noting both the welcoming environment and the staff’s willingness to support students. Many highlight the opportunity to “learn a lot,” emphasizing the institution’s focus on delivering strong academic programs that prepare graduates for professional success. Reviewers consistently describe the campus as secure, and praise the quality of customer service, pointing to a culture that values both safety and student care. Located in San José and operating as a business and legal education provider, the university maintains extended hours on weekdays, offering flexibility for those balancing work and study. While some visitors call it the best university in Costa Rica, others provide a more nuanced perspective: the academic program receives positive feedback, but several warn that tuition and fees can add up quickly, suggesting that cost may be a barrier for some prospective students. One review notes that the administration sometimes listens to student feedback, but not always, reflecting a mixed approach to student engagement. With a Google rating of 3.8 from over 300 reviews, the University of Science and Technology offers a secure, clean environment and effective academic programs, but those considering enrollment should weigh the financial commitment. For learners seeking quality education and attentive service in San José, this institution remains a notable option.
